WINE IN THE CELLAR

Dreams feel like a passing train running fast

A setting sun, light’s fading down the grass

It’s a wonder we get so far down winding trails

Where are we headed to, and what’ll be there?

Like we put wine in the cellar when the vines ripe in summer

And the leaves all come down in the fall

The long wait of winter keeps the spring blooming greener

So there’s no sense in rushing at all

Cause it all takes time

Stumble into dusk that fades to dark to be with you

And I found you in the sky above, a lonely moon

Though the miles of road keep us apart; we’re treading ground

For our buried treasure souls, waitin’ to be found

Like we put wine in the cellar when the vines ripe in summer

And the leaves all come down in the fall

The long wait of winter keeps a spring blooming greener

So there’s no sense in rushing at all

Cause it all takes time

I don’t know the last time when I told you that I wouldn’t trade a minute waiting all these days with you

Time has tested, made us ready; Pop the bottle, pour it steady, raise a glass to all the days we’ve been through

Like we put wine in the cellar when the vines ripe in summer

And the leaves all come down in the fall

The long wait of winter keeps a spring blooming greener

There’s no sense in rushing at all

Cause it all takes time
